Venting........

I don't understand why it has to be so hard to gain wisdom through experience!!!I am having such a hard time learning from my past mistakes.....I'm talking about relationships! I think we should go back to the old fashioned way of of courting....He likes me and I like him and he asks my parents( so it will give him less of a chance to cheat on me....) if he can court me. Its not fair for us to go through so much heart ache to just to find true love or whatever you call a happy relationship..or is it me...someone tell me why???

Or am I destined to be alone for the rest of my life?????Though I wouldn't mind being a rich successful lonely mother...thats better than all this drama I'm having.

Everything Im going to be

I want to be everything that I can be....I want to be a good mother for my daughter to look up to. I want to be a mentor for my peers and younger women and girls to look up to. I want to make changes and great impact in the civil and judicial systems in our country. I believe in the power of voice and I want to be a voice for young people. I aspire to pursue and finish my degree in law and to further my education in sociology. I want to begin and run my own organization dealing with young mothers in Kenya and interacting with those around the world.

I am not willing to let anything or anyone put me down or stop me from achieving my goals. I feel I have come a long way but my journey has just began...........

What is youth,youthful or being young...what does it mean to you?

Some say being young is in the heart.........but I wonder what that means!for me when youth means energy,zeal, untapped potential. Then again it means mischeif and space for change.

Guys please share with me your thoughts on this. It would be nice to see all the things that the youth can be linked to according to different people.
